The Centre for Autistic Social Entrepreneurship is an initiative of the autistic owned and led social enterprise Community Capacity. Builders.  Its purpose is to support autistic social entrepreneurs to thrive.

The Centre's activities include:

• building the capacity of disability service providers, social enterprise support organisations, and business advisors to provide services to autistic social entrepreneurs in a neurodiversity affirming manner
• researching autistic ways of innovating and developing social enterprises, and
• advocating for autistic social entrepreneurship. 

As a contribution towards building the capacity of support services, the Centre for Autistic Social Entrepreneurship ​has developed two programs:

• a Program for Supporting Autistic Social Entrepreneurs, and
• a Program for Mentoring Autistic Social Entrepreneurs. 

All of the Centre's initiatives are underpinned by critical autism studies, and critical systems thinking.

Our Logo

​The gold infinity symbol represents Autism Acceptance (moving away from just autism awareness).  The Autistic Community chose this symbol for Autism Acceptance as the first two letters of Autism and Autistic are "Au" which is the chemical symbol for gold.​
